Native History Pictures

The image on the right of Chief Sitting Bull (HiVu #1854) is a sample of our Antique Photos. This and other images date back to the 1870's when photography was in its infancy. This and many of the lantern slides were individually hand painted with very fine brushes in factory like settings, sometimes set out on a flat roof.
