Jesus Baptism Deity Day 51
At Jesus' Baptism, God acknowledged his son in the presence of many people. "And lo, a voice from heaven, saying, 'This is my beloved son, with whom I am well pleased.'"1 At the Transfiguration, Jesus appears with Moses and Elijah on the mountain. A voice from heaven again confirms the status of Jesus "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him."2
A heavenly angel verifies that Jesus had risen from the dead and that this is another proof that he is God. "Do not be amazed, you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here; see the place where they laid him."3
