Come Christ 322
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22.18)
We must be impressed by the number of times John insists that Christ will "come" at any moment1. "Behold, I am coming soon" is the very refrain of the chapter.
In Christ alone the longing of the soul can be satisfied.
O Christ, in you my soul hath found, And found in you alone,
The peace, the joy, I sought so long, The bliss till now unknown.
Now none but Christ can satisfy, None other Name for me!
There's love, and life, and lasting joy, Lord Jesus found in thee.
