Mount Zion Lamb (Revelation 14.1-2)

"Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps." (Revelation 14.1-2)✞

Marked Welsh Sheep

Marked Welsh Sheep in FieldNow follows a tender vision of the Mount Zion lamb and his companions. The number one hundred and forty-four thousand represents believers who have endured persecutions on earth, are pure, and are now ready to enjoy the eternal benefits and blessings of life with God. They are twelve by twelve by one thousand. Twelve represents all humanity being three the number for God and four being the number for humans. They are followers of the Lamb and gather on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the traditional place where the true remnant, the Israel of faith, is to be gathered in the messianic reign. They are marked as belonging to the Lamb with a sign on their foreheads. This is in contrast to the pagans who are marked with the name or number of the beast. True believers are spiritually pure and remain faithful to Christ, free from involvement with the pagan world system. They are Jesus' first fruits being dedicated as the first part of the harvest as holy to God.
