Thousand Thousands Angels (5.11-12)

"Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" (Revelation 5.11-12)

Praise of Numberless Angels

Trumpets The countless multitude of a thousand thousands "angels" were singing about the Lamb, Jesus Christ, who is worthy to open the scroll. Angels are not human but rather spiritual beings formed by God before the creation to serve and worship the Deity. Thousand thousands angels, and ten thousand times ten thousand is literally one hundred million plus one million and is used by the author to express a countless number like the stars in the sky or the grains of sand on the seashore. In today's language, a thousand thousands angels would be called infinite or 10 to the power of n.
