Jesus Christ Death (5.9-10)
And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God people from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."(Revelation 5.9-10)
The Jesus Christ death was universal in its benefits. Jesus Christ death was for men and women from every tribe and language and people and nation. There was a day when the Jews could argue that God cared only for them and wished for nothing but the destruction of other peoples. But in Jesus Christ death we meet a God who loves the world. The Jesus Christ death was for everyone and, therefore, it is the task of the Church to tell all about it.
He made us "kings." He opened to us the royalty of being sons of God. We have always been sons of God by creation, but now there is a new relationship of grace open to everyone.
