#2287 Mississippi Discovered At the right is a sample of the images available in our USA gallery (HiVu #2287, "Mississippi Discovered"). It is probably a factory produced image of a painting of the same name or taken by Canon Spencer of the original It would have been painted by hand which was a very difficult and exacting task. Young women and boys were employed to do this, such was the demand for these slides.
