Children, Chiefs, a Courier and Native Women

These pictures are from the 1870 time period and on and illustrate life at the time on the reservations. A number of chiefs are shown here including Chief Gall, Chief of Knife Tribe and Chief Pash-i-pa-ho in their ceremonial robes. Several of the Indian Boarding Schools including the Blackfoot Boarding school and the school on B reserve. There is an interesting photo of Barry and Grey Eagle. The children are seen at the Blackfeet School at study and Ah-Gone, an Indian courier.
