Teach Disciples
They had to begin their crusade right where they were,"...the message about repentance and forgiveness of sins must be preached to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem."1 Jesus commanded His army to keep on the move and to seek to make new disciples everywhere they went."I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples... and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you."2
Train to Teach
The soldier is ordered to train others to be teachers. Paul introduces this theme to his disciple Timothy,"Take the teachings that you heard me proclaim in the presence of many witnesses, and entrust them to reliable people, who will be able to teach others also."3
