Christian Sheep Flock 93
There are many wolves in sheep's clothing hiding in the church. God still drives out these imposters from the legitimate Body of Christ.Real sheep are easily lost and led astray therefore need a shepherd to guide them. Jesus declares, "They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd."1
Tares in a Wheat Field
Jesus describes wheat as symbolic of God's provision and tares as nuisance weeds. The Body of Christ is like good seed sown in a field but while everyone is asleep, an enemy comes and plants weeds which look similar to seed, but grow differently. The young inexperienced farmer is tempted to pull out the rogue plants as soon as they appear, but in the process he would uproot the good stems too. A wiser head permits both to grow until the harvester can separate them.
